Dear Dr. Wayda,
I am writing with regard to the graduate assistant position with West Virginia University. West Virginia University has one of the most credited masters programs in the country. It would be a privilege to be part of this outstanding program.
I am currently a junior, majoring in Athletic Coaching Education with a minor in Sports and Exercise Psychology at West Virginia University. Recently completing courses in administration, sport movement analysis, and professional field experience. Including assistant coaching in football and wrestling at the middle school level. With my athletic coaching classes I have completed technique classes which include softball and tennis. I also have the capability to work with other sports including baseball, frisbee, badminton, and golf.
Through my under graduate at West Virginia University I have gained knowledge that will enhance my ability to be a graduate assistant. I have obtained a grade point average of 3.56, while gaining experience as a coach. I have developed organizational skills and commitment to success. Although I have begun my coaching knowledge, I would like to further my knowledge. As I pursue the graduate assistant position, the education can help me succeed in gaining more knowledge.
I am energized to discuss my further qualifications as a graduate assistant. You can contact me via phone (908) 577-2649 or via email at swrigh16@mix.wvu.edu. I know you are a very busy person when it comes to the graduate assistant process, I would really appreciate an opportunity to become part of farther learning at West Virginia University. Thank you for your time and consideration to my graduate assistant request.
Sincerely,
Steven Wright
